    • Clive and Grinshill History Group  was established in 2007  to research and publicise the history of the villages of Clive and Grinshill in Shropshire. Meetings are held about 6 times a year, with talks and presentations on subjects connected with the history and life of the two villages. Meetings are usually held in Clive Village Hall and are free to members; a small charge is made for guests and non-members.

Objectives include:

  • encouraging research and documentation of the history of Clive and Grinshill
  • recording the memories of inhabitants
  • advising and assisting individuals researching the history of Clive and Grinshill
  • delivering specific historical projects as identified by members of the Group

Membership is open to any individual with an interest in the history of Clive and Grinshill. Membership for 2019 is £7 for individual membership
and £10 for family membership, payable on 1st January each year. Non-members are welcome to come to  any of our talks, but we make a charge of £3 at the door.
